We aspire to be more.
Our CEO has a long history of working in the financial advisor community and recognizes many great people that serve to provide products or services to clients. OverShare Advice and Planning, LLC has been built as a financial planning firm delivering comprehensive and documented Advanced Financial Planning. We are a "Fee-Only" shop. You should investigate what that means. We strongly believe that independence of thought, objectivity of advice and creativity of strategies drives our engagement with clients.
Like many Certified Financial Planners TM, we build your financial plan to encompass all areas of your financial life along with building an asset allocation strategy and implementation of your investment accounts. We value the knowledge gained through education, designations and certifications to learn strategies used in your financial planning recommendations.
The final 10% will be the difference.
We believe in documenting how we see the world so you can easily determine if it is a fit and a match for you. You can get to know all there is to know about our approach by reading our three Firm Documents on our Core Beliefs, Hemispherical Mapping and Scoring along with our Portfolio Foundations paper.
There is flexibility in how we work with you. You have choice in how to engage. We can dig into advanced financial planning utilizing our Smart Tech to build a comprehensive Financial Plan together with our Hemispherical Mapping and Scoring. As a second step, you can choose to keep your existing accounts with your current financial advisors or custodians. Assuming you meet our minimum asset size, you may also choose to have OverShare Advice and Planning, LLC take responsibility for the daily responsibility and ongoing management of specific investment and trust accounts.
We work with you on the complexities of your financial lives that may include Trusts, Charitable Giving and Philanthropy, Income Tax Strategies, Company Stock and Stock Options or the design of a Business Retirement or Pension Plan.
We have built a service offering for a select group of Client Families and have only fifty seats available for long-term partnerships with these Client Families. Each year we only accept a small number of new relationships. This provides us the valuable time to dedicate and dig deeper with plans of providing you a Client Experience you value and one that you find valuable.
We have strong Core Beliefs and Guiding Principles that have been forged over twenty years in the financial services industry. We value technical knowledge and the ability to pair that with emotional intelligence to be a positive contributor in the lives of our Client Families.

We believe smart technology will evolve how we serves Clients. No longer is there value in placing a trade or calling with a stock idea. No longer is it convenient for clients to take a half of a day to drive to an office downtown to have a conversation that could have easily been handled with a video conference. We are challenging ourselves to exceed expectations and to be energized every day.
Our CEO has spent much of his twenty years of financial services experience coaching and mentoring financial advisors, planners, CFP(R) practitioners, wealth managers and securities licensed CPAs on how to deliver value to the client relationship; above and beyond that of what the typical advisor is expected to provide.
We believe our greatest capability will be in holding our firm to the highest standards, to seek out the technical knowledge deep in the details and to approach the world with energy and creativity to solve the most complex of Client opportunities.
A Note from Our CEO
Dear Clients, Friends and Family,
Altogether, it has been over 20 years of dedication to investors and financial planning clients along with a long list of Financial Advisors and CPAs across the country. In the process, I have made many great friends and important relationships. Along the way, these wonderful people have been the inspiration and motivation that has challenged us to be more, dig deeper and strive to have a greater impact.
In the early years, I began as a financial advisor working with primarily smaller clients and then working with larger net worth investors over time. This sparked an interest in more education and technical skills to boost the strength to serve Client Families with more complex financial situations and larger estates with profound legacy planning needs. I absolutely loved it!
Together with technical skills instruction through programs for designations, licenses, certifications, conferences and continuing education along with an emphasis on the psychology of investors and behavioral finance management have provided a critical spark that spawned the Hemispherical Mapping and Scoring Method we believe is a powerful foundation to our firm's approach. To thrive in serving Clients, a dedication to a strong Value Foundation, a clear Vision and a steadfast Mission are key drivers by which our results can be measured.
In recent months, I have reflected on the effort it has taken to get here. To be the best team contributor and leader I could be over the years, I have traveled almost one million airline miles, driven thousands of miles behind the wheel, spent over a thousand nights away from home in hotels, countless hours in meetings and presentations and often spent as much as four thousand minutes of cell phone talk time each month encouraging investors and financial advisors.
We have adopted a commitment to technology, seeking out technical planning knowledge and early adoption of innovation in anticipation of delivering a special experience for you and our group of Client Families.
We value our adventures on two wheels and place an emphasis on serving Clients that share our love for cycling on the road or the trail, motocross, cross country and all kinds of bikes.
We have big dreams and bigger plans for serving you beyond your expectations.

Chief Executive Officer – Financial Planner
Mike has spent 20 years in the corporate world of Wealth Management in counselling Investors and Financial Advisors. His professional experience includes coaching on investment advisory programs, private equity, hedging strategies along with formalized Financial Planning and he often speaks at wealth management events, conferences and workshops.
Mike shares that, "The greatest pleasure in helping others encompasses using technical knowledge strengthened by creativity and shared experiences to inspire my audience to develop their personal call to action."
Education and Certifications
Mike earned his B.B.A in Finance at Midwestern State University and is an Investment Advisory Representative. In addition, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designee, Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designee and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional. Mike previously served as the founder and President of the North Texas Investment Management Consultants Association Chapter. In addition, Mike volunteers time for Financial Literacy Education and Research.
Have Fun - Stay Young!
Outside of the boardroom or classroom, Mike rides dirt bikes for fun, and enjoys cycling on both mountain bikes and road bikes. In addition, Mike is proud to be a voting member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Mike and his wife Melinda are 16-year residents of Frisco and have enjoyed raising their two children and family dog “Baxter” in this growing North Texas community.

Baxter is a registered Havanese. You can tell by his brown nose that he is a Chocolate Havanese. Baxter loves short walks around the neighborhood, he is super social and his favorite spots are at the end of the recliner or on his pillow by the window.
